​Student Life Marketing and Design represents a part of the Division of Student Life at the University of Iowa. As a content developer, I wrote countless articles for the University of Iowa blog, Afterclass. Several of these articles are included in the UI Annual Report each semester. As a Social Media Manager, I updated social media for the "Student Life at Iowa" Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with an audience of approximately 14,000 people.

​As a public realtions and communications intern at Amperage Marketing, I worked in an array of different areas throughout the agency. At The Daily Iowan, I worked as a Metro Reporter with a cops beat. Aside from writing up the daily blotter and police complaints, I wrote a minimum of three-five articles per week, conducted interviews daily, and met strict deadlines. The Daily Iowan is the largest college news organization in the country and has won several awards including the Pacemaker.

The organization is for students who are interested in any aspect of magazines. Ed on Campus takes two professional trips through each year, one to Meredith Corporation in Des Moines, IA in the Fall, and another to New York City in the Spring. As the Marketing Coordinator for Ed on Campus, I updated all social media for Facebook and Twitter, sent out e-mails, fundraised, and participated in other activities to get Ed on Campus's name out there.

Digital Media Specialist
Amperage Marketing is an advertising and marketing agency with offices in Cedar Falls, Cedar Raipds, Des Moines and Quad Cities, IA. I currently work in the Cedar Rapdis office as the Digital Media Specialist. As the Digital Media Specialist, I work on a variety of different online platforms, such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and several others. Within these platforms, I am constantly managing and optimizing all of our campaigns to be as successful as possible. In addition, I create all reports for online media, monitor spends on accounts, blog for our monthly newsletter, maintain digital records of all online advertising and marketing contracts for assigned clients and assist in creating proposals for online media.
